Humming absently to herself,The detective rummaged through the various things on the book shelves of the living room for a book,In which she figured could be useful for a recent case. It wasn’t like she was paying too terribly much attention to her surroundings just yet either while she searched about.
A mildly exasperated sigh escaped her lips. Quickly using the nearest rubber band she could find nearby,She pinned her hair back so it wouldn’t be getting in her way while she worked. Nevertheless,It wasn’t too terribly long until she was off to the kitchen once more to begin experimenting with the materials she had been working with now that she found the correct book.Yet once again,She got distracted from what she was doing after she heard someone knocking on the front door. ”Hamish,Dear,Could you get that?”Called Rebbecca to her son.,While glancing off towards his bedroom for a brief moment.
Hamish grumbled a little,Glancing up from the book he had been reading in his bedroom when he heard his mother. ”I suppose…”He mumbled more to himself than to her in response,Setting the book aside and stumbling slightly as he came to his feet. He then made his way out of the room and carefully down the stairs to get the door,Which only received a few more knocks.
"Yes?”Said the young Holmes boy as he opened the door,Although the somewhat annoyed demeanor soon faded to nervousness at the sight of whom it was.He paled a bit,Stepping back from her.He hadn’t had a chance to see her just yet,But he knew that it was,In fact,The daughter of Moriarty. A bit too shocked to speak nor tell his mother,He simply kept his eyes cast up at the girl,Patiently waiting for an explanation as to why she was there.
Even though he was only merely five years old,Her being a good bit older than him along with already being a bit intimidated by whom her father was,He kept a brave face and a somewhat calm demeanor in her presence.
Yesterday she had a fight with Jim, he shout and told her that he’ll kill her, but that wasn’t something new, and she was used to his threats, the new thing was what triggered that outburst. She merely asked why he came home late, his eyes widened in surprise and a devilish smirk crossed his lips ” Why did I came home late?” he asked, and she knew that when her father was smirking it was better to leave things how they were but he kept talking ” BECAUSE I HAD TO KILL YOUR STUPID PROFESSOR, THE LITTLE COWARD TRIED TO RUN AWAY” When you’re raised by two criminal minds death doesn’t scare you, but she enjoyed her classes with this professor, he knew a lot about history and told her thins that weren’t in books. She knew she shouldn’t have, but she replied ” He was not stupid nor a coward” she said with serenity.
The next thing she remembered was open her eyes and finding herself in her bedroom with a note on her bedside table which read ” Your new professor will be here tomorrow in the morning”.
Mad as she was, she took a shower, grabbed a suitcase, her keys, his father money, her new gun and headed out. It wasn’t the first time she runned away, but it was the first time her father raised his hand at her. She didn’t know where to go, but then remembered her secret place. It was hidden in the back of a park, and was filled with things from her childhood.
Now she was knocking on the Holmess’ door. Why? As far as she knew Jim hated them and what could be better than go to her father’s enemies? She was still mad at him for killing her favourite professor and just a little bit for hitting her. When the door opened she smiled at the child.
"What’s up little boy? Scared?"
She couldn’t help her smirk. She knew that she had to play the troubled teen with them, and she was trained to act like a person completely different so she could manage this.
" I just need some ice, my eye hurts…Can you understand that?" she didn’t know If child of that age could understand those things but he was a Holmes after all
